Baristas belly up to the social bar at Starbucks
I am not sure how long this has been up, but Starbucks has an excellent employee page on Facebook that is well worth a look. The page is entitled “Starbucks Partners” and is set up on the new Facebook timeline for brands. It has a great look, and lot of great information is being shared about the company, including new product releases, awards, and recognition. They are also using it as an out-reach tool for senior level managers. It’s a great model for other companies to follow.
One of the most interesting things to note is the open nature of the employee dialogue. I have attached a sample screenshot from the page below. Take a look and bow down in awe at the hutzpah of the Starbucks culture.
